The Ferreira Group, Inc. is in the process of
testing, adjusting and balancing (TAB) the environmental systems serving the North Haledon
Foodtown Supermarket in North Haledon, NJ.
A TAB report is considered an essential tool, providing system designers and building facilities personnel a better means to evaluate and monitor system performance of the installed equipment. It may be referred to again and again well after the projects completion. Some of the benefits of a TAB Report are:
In energy conservation programs as existing conditions for base energy level
calculations.
For procedures and reports that can be used to verify energy conservation results.
To compare periodic tests to original conditions for determining system deterioration or
reduced efficiency, if a problem exists.
To ensure quality, all TAB work performed shall conform to the current edition of the
National Environmental Balancing Bureau (NEBB) Procedural Standards for Testing
Adjusting and Balancing of Environmental Systems.
